Enter the Dragon - Bruce Lee, Jim Kelly, and John Saxon - three good reasons to watch (or hopefully re-watch now that there's a widescreen 25th anniversary edition) Enter the Dragon. This is the film that brought kung-fu to America, but there's more to it than that. It's a damn good film. Lost in Space - Although we're not recommending the new Lost in Space movie, it's not like we hate it. It's just that the film could have turned out a lot better. What you've got is a serious adaptation of a not-serious show from the late 60s.
The first half of Lost in Space ain't too bad, to tell the truth. Loaded with computer effects like you wouldn't believe, we're introduced to the new Space Family Robinson. And what a semi-talented and good-looking crew they are! Unfortunately, there are so many special effects and so many silly plot turns that the cast could have been populated with cheap no-name actors and it wouldn't have made any difference. Take current "hottie of the year" Heather Graham. She's attractive. She's a pretty good actress. As brainiac daughter Judy Robinson, she could have been a really good character (who looks good on screen). As it is she's in the film for about five scenes and doesn't do anything interesting other than scream for help. you could say the same thing for all of the female characters in the film, who stay on the Jupiter 2 while the guys do the "dangerous" stuff.
