The title says it all, folks. Not only is it half baked, but half hearted as well. Comedians David Chapelle, Jim Breuer, and Harland Williams are a trio of stoners. They smoke pot. They get the munchies. One of them goes to prison. They sell pot then they smoke some more.
Scream 2 - Finally a sequel that doesn't suck . . . But it's still not as fun as the first one. Nevertheless, you could do much worse for your rental dollar. The surviving cast members of Scream reunite at Sydney's college in order to either thwart or fall prey to a copycat killer. As with most horror sequels, the stakes are upped in the blood and body count categories. The nail-biting suspense factor of the first film is overshadowed by comedic elements, but there are still a few noteworthy scare sequences. Recommended despite a few misgivings. Better than most non-sequel horror flicks in the theater these days.
