<BODY> Canadian director <b>Bruce McDonald</b> likes to put his fixations on the screen, I think, most notably his fascination with the open road and with punk music. The road thing is obvious, given that his most prominent movies-<i>Roadkill</i>, <i>Highway 61</i>, and <i>Hard Core Logo</i>--are all road films, but the punk thing had only been hinted at in the earlier two--cameos by <b>Jello Biafra</b> and <b>Art Bergmann</b>, <b>Ramones</b> music in the background, and the like. <i>Hard Core Logo</i>, a mock-documentary about a punk band on tour, is a more overt combination of the two fetishes. </p> <a href="http://www.tapehead.com">TapeHead Home</A> </BODY>
